Private Equity Investment Team Internship Opportunities 2027 - starting Q1

We are looking for Interns in our European Investment Team, based in Bad Homburg, joining as of Q1/2027. The minimum internship period is 3 months. Candidates must be in their final year of their Master's study or have already completed a Master's program.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES (Co-investments, Secondaries and Primaries)

Monitoring Existing Private Equity Investments

• Primary fund investments
• Secondary fund investments (pricing and execution)
• Direct co-investments
• Portfolio management and allocation

Supporting the Investment Process

• Financial modelling and analysis
• Preparation of investment models and memorandums
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of transactions
• Market and financial research

Assisting in the Preparation of Marketing Materials

• Fundraising and Secondary pitch materials
• Market research
• Investor reporting materials

• Top academic performance from leading universities
• Currently enrolled in or already completed a Master’s program in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Preferably with previous work experience through internships in Private Equity, M&A or Consulting
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
• Fluent in German and English
